Sustainable Mobility and a Green Future: The European “Adriamove” Project Promotes Sustainable Mobility and Tourism in Fasano

The Municipality of Fasano, as the lead partner, is continuing the implementation of the Adriamove project (Active Development of Sustainable Mobility Solutions for Enhanced Electric Transport in the Adriatic-Ionian Area), funded under the Interreg IPA ADRION 2021–2027 Cross-Border Cooperation Programme.

During the summer of 2026, starting on June 23 and running for 10 weeks, non-resident visitors and tourists will be offered the opportunity to explore the Fasano area free of charge through an electric transport service operated by Cotrap Srl.

Every day, from Monday to Friday, visitors will be able to travel across the Fasano territory on themed itineraries, ranging from the hills and the coastline to the historic town center. Tours will depart from Piazza Ciaia and will be available in two daily sessions of two hours each, at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

The booking and visitor assistance service will be managed by Serapia Cooperative, the organization responsible for the town’s tourist information points. The cooperative serves as a key link between travelers, tourism stakeholders, and the local community.

Through this initiative, Fasano leads a prestigious partnership involving cities and universities from Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, working together to promote the sustainable development of the Adriatic-Ionian region.
